Homework Help The Family Learning Center is open Saturday 12:00 - 5:00PM. Technology LBPL cardholders have access to public computers with internet, Microsoft Office, and printing. Access is on a first come basis and is limited to 45 minutes per day. Facility Rental The community meeting room has a capacity of 40 and is available on a rental basis. History Bay Shore Library was established in September 1929 at 194 Corona Avenue. The library later moved to its current site, as part of the Selover Building. The current building opened in April 1959. Noted artist, Taro Yashima, was commissioned to create five paintings for the children's section. The Bay Shore Neighborhood Library is named after Alamitos Bay, which the building overlooks and Belmont Shore, the community it serves.
