Huntington Beach Beaches: Hundreds Attend The Annual Sunset Beach Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser

The 14th Annual Sunset Beach Chili Cook-Off recently drew hundreds of people to the Community Center to eat and dance at the fun, fundraiser that benefits the Sunset Beach Woman's Club and Sunset Beach Community Association. Many teams from local establishments cooked Chili and the volunteer judges selected the best. They chose the following winners: First Place--Mother's, Second--Don The Beachcomber and Third--Single Guys. The People's Choice Winners were First--Hillbilly Red's, Second--STAR Real Estate, Sunset Beach, and Third--Blood, Sweat and Beer. Winning the Best Decorated Category were: First Place--King Neptune's, Second--Fuze Sports and Third--STAR Real Estate, Sunset Beach. The cheering dancers and spectators loved the sounds of Party Jones. Legendary Entertainer Robby Armstrong emceed the popular bash and you can catch his fantastic music regularly at Harpoon Harry's and Don The Beachcomber. If you haven't been to the Chili Cook-Off, it's a must! The food is delicious and the people are great. Thanks to Jennie Kellog and her committee for putting together this super extravaganza.
