Annual Hangtown Christmas Parade is coming again to Historic Placerville. Check in time is 11 a.m. Parade usually starts at 1 p.m.

Parade route: Starts at the Mountain Democrat parking lot on upper Broadway in Placerville and continues down Main Street.

After the big Festival of Lights Tree Lighting and celebration held the day after Thanksgiving, get ready for the Annual Christmas Parade which is celebrated on Historic Main Street in Placerville. The holiday season in Placerville is great fun for everyone! There are lots of beautiful lights, decorated merchant windows, a Christmas parade, special shopping events, visits with Santa, and yes, even free stagecoach rides. Entry fee: Unwrapped gift for "Toys for Tots". Check in time is 11 a.m. Parade starts at 1 p.m.

FREE rides (in good weather) at the Bell Tower on two Saturdays in December. If you've never ridden in a real stagecoach, this is a great opportunity!
