Event sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, City of Millbrae and Community Foundation

In front of Millbrae City Hall the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce kicks off the holiday season with this wonderful annual event presented in conjunction with the City of Millbrae. Sing along with the Spring Valley Elementary Children's Choir as they perform holiday songs, then watch as the huge holiday tree is beautifully lit with thousands of lights. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served immediately after the tree is lit. (Last year the singing portion was held indoors due to rain and then the crowd stepped outside with umbrellas to watch the lighting. )

Just as the city council begins to rotate positions, the City of Millbrae does a small rotation, flipping the switch or plugging in the holiday tree lights. Oh what a beautiful sight!

Millbrae's 30 foot tree brings warmth and cheer as guests savor sweets and warm drinks, and listen to delightful Christmas music with a choir.

Millbrae Community Foundation and Millbrae Lions help with the Tree Lighting event, which draws huge crowds in one of the city's favorites. The high level of community participation and festive holiday atmosphere that officially kicks off the local holiday shopping season offers ample reason for citizens and merchants to be of good cheer.

Millbrae Lions volunteer, serving hot chocolate, hot coffee, candy canes and holiday cookies after the program to the delight of the many adults and children in attendance. The event is co-sponsored by the City of Millbrae and Millbrae Chamber of Commerce.
