Smooth jazz is back in Downtown Hayward at the third annual free, jazz event featuring the best in contemporary and Latin jazz in performances throughout the day. Appearing on multiple stages Downtown (Main, A, B & C Streets plus Foothill,) the event is free for all. Past performers have included: Prieto & his Mirage Band, Carranza Latin Jazz, Mario y su TembeKO, Areas Latin Jazz Ensemble, Momotombo SF and Ricky's Grupo Afro-Nativo.
This free event features food vendors, arts & crafts, beer and wine and of course live music by some of the bay areas favorites!

The June 18 Juneteenth Celebration takes place noon - 6 p.m. and will feature
music, African dance, poetry, food booths & guest speakers.
Parking is available in the Watkins Street Garage, across from City Hall. This
concert series also is BARTable and located within walking distance of the
Hayward BART station.

Concerts are held in the Tony Morelli Bandstand in Memorial Park, 24176 Mission Blvd., behind the Hayward Plunge. The concerts run from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Join the Hayward Municipal Band as the great American tradition continues this summer. Bring your family, friends and picnic lunch to Memorial Park to relax, listen and enjoy, classical, popular, big band, jazz, musicals, Latin and more! The band plays under the direction of Kathy Morelli Maier.Bring a picnic and enjoy.
