City of Irwindale's Mariachi Fest combines two events into one - with the addition of Mexico's Independence. Mariachi Fest at Dan Diaz Recreation Center every Thursday in September, 7 p.m. at the Park Plaza. Event includes Mexican band, Craft Vendors, Loteria, Mexican food for sale.

Join in the weekly summer concerts held in the plaza area behind City Hall and the Police Department at Irwindale Park. Each week the concert include a themed food served by local community groups as fundraising events. Irwindale residents with crafty hobbies and items can sell their goods at the concerts with a nominal vendor fee after filling out an application.
