Tall chairs are permitted as indicated by the sign in the meadow in order to minimize the impact on the view of the stage.

The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival believes that Shakespeare experienced in a communal setting, whether it be outdoors, in a classroom, in a theater, or live online, elates the soul, inspires the mind, and unifies those who sit beside each other.

This is one of Shakespeare's most performed plays. Much Ado About Nothing is about the courtship and scandal involving young Hero and her suitor, Claudio. However, Claudio's friend, Benedick, and Hero's cousin, Beatrice, often takes center stage with their witty war of words.

Much Ado quotes:

"He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man; and he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man, I am not for him."

"Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps."
