City of Avalon presents Independence Day Island-Style with 4th of July Celebration, Parade and Fireworks

July 3, 2026, 3-4 p.m. USC Marching Band Performance on Wrigley Stage.

July 4, 2026 

• Home & Business Decorating Contest
• Golf Cart Parade 1 p.m.
  Come dress yourself, dress your cart, or play the part!! Decorate your float for the 2026 theme, "Red, White and 250: Celebrating our History and Defining our Future".  Parade line up meets along Casino Way between 12-12.30 pm. 2026 event requires pre-registration. (Decorated vehicles only.)
• Dinghy Parade 3:30 pm
• Free Concerts 3-9 p.m. On Wrigley Stage throughout the day and evening.
• USC Marching Band at the Catalina Casino 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $30.50
• USC Marching Band performance on Wrigley Stage  8:30-9 p.m.
• Fireworks from the Harbor and Fireworks Show over Avalon Bay  9 p.m. (approx.)
  Grab a chair or blanket and set up

Annual Children's Festival 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Buffalo Park includes crafts & activities.

Annual Dinghy Parade  at 2 p.m. through the coves of the West End.

Fireworks  Spectacular  over Isthmus Cove. Fireworks begin at approx. 9 p.m. 

Guests in Avalon can hop aboard the Cyclone power boat at the Green Pleasure Pier or an air-conditioned bus and be in Two Harbors in time for the annual fireworks spectacular.
