The 20 minute fireworks show begins around 9 p.m. Thousands come to see the display, a fitting tribute and end to a a perfect day in Lincoln.
One of the most grassroots fundraisers, the community sustains this event with donations and sponsorships. The annual fireworks spectacular costs about $1,000 per minute! The fireworks show is about 20 minutes in duration which equals about $20,000 just for the fireworks display!
