No public will be allowed on the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) to view the fireworks display due to ongoing military operations occurring.
Civilian activities and events on Base have been temporarily paused. Access to the Base has been limited to mission critical personnel only.
3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular will be live streamed on social media platforms at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025. No one is allowed on the base to see the annual show.

The cities of Los Alamitos, Cypress, Seal Beach, and the Community of Rossmoor collaborate to host this annual event to honor the men and women of the military and celebrate our country's birthday. Country Nation Band and The California Army National Guard's 40th Infantry Division Band will also perform.
The event's climax begins at 9 p.m. with one of the best and longest fireworks displays in Southern California.
4 p.m. Gates are open and event begins
4:15 p.m. Live entertainment on the Main Stage begins
7:45 p.m. Dignitary speeches
8 p.m. Band performance on the Main Stage begins
8:45 p.m. Gates close
9:00 p.m. Fireworks show begins
9:30 p.m. Event concludes
38th annual Spectacular at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base
The free event, sponsored by the cities of Los Alamitos & Seal Beach, will feature military displays and live music on the main stage provided by Country Nation Band. The California Army National Guard’s 40th Infantry Division Band will also perform. The Family Fun Area will have face painting, a caricature artist, a military thank you banner signing area, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be several food vendors that will be serving a variety of dinner options, desserts, and snacks along with several merchandise vendors.
The event’s main attraction begins promptly at 9 p.m. with one of the best fireworks displays in Southern California. Gates will open at 4 p.m. via Lexington Drive off Katella Avenue or Orangewood Avenue off Los Alamitos Boulevard.

Everyone over the age of 16 entering the Joint Forces Training Base must present photo identification at the main gate and children must be accompanied
by parents/guardian. Lawn chairs and blankets are highly encouraged, as there is no bleacher seating available.
Motor homes, alcohol, dogs, BBQs, and fireworks are NOT permitted at this event.
