Live musical entertainment is expected. Maggi Hodge grapples with our current state of living in inundation: our modern lives are overloaded with physical and psychological detritus that threatens to overwhelm and overburden us with unnecessary chatter and matter. In Overload, Hodge has temporarily departed from the figurative, but her signature use of vivid colors and the studied, loose brushstrokes that define her aesthetic are sure to generate commotion for this first-of-the-year exhibition. Location: Mash Gallery, 1325 Palmetto Street, Ste 130, Los Angeles, CA 90013  Tel: (213) 325-2759 | MASHGALLERY.COM
