Easter Egg Hunt for kids:

You are invited to come to an Egg Hunt for kids. Bring your baskets to collect the goodies, and meet the Easter Bunny, too. There are two age categories for the egg-citing egg hunts. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. when Easter Bunny hops on the scene.
Last year's info: Then at 10 a.m. the egg hunt for toddlers to 4 year olds is launched on the grass lawns of Recreation park at Lawnbowling Green and Checkout Grass Areas. At 10:30 a.m. the older crowd ages 5 to 11 will have a hunt with plenty of goodies so no child leaves empty-handed. Egg Hunts for age 5 to 11 years will begin promptly at 10:30 am on the Softball Field, Stevenson Field, and Picnic Areas. There will be plenty of eggs filled with candy and toys, as well as an abundant variety of wrapped candy available for the kids.

Recreation Park is home base for the parks & recreation administrative staff, and offers many facilities making it an ideal spot not only for an egg hunt, but to stick around after the event and play with the kids. Tennis, basketball courts, roller hockey, racquetball and lawn bowling among the activities. And it's an ideal spot to have a picnic!
