Local Harvest Certified Farmers Market in Huntington Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA --  A new Certified Farmers Market on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Harbour features all the great vegetables, honey, fruits, nuts, flowers, pastries, breads, caramel corn and fresh cut flowers that shoppers have grown to love and look for from California farmers who sell their produce and products direct to the public. As the third farmers market in Huntington Beach, this new attraction is sure to be a hit!

Opened in April 2011, the Local Harvest Market is a convenient stop, right across from the beaches of Sunset Beach. Launched by entrepreneur Lee Ostendorf, the new market is one of the markets she operates in cities in Los Angeles and Orange County. Other markets include Buena Park - Saturdays, Long Beach (Marine Stadium) - Wednesdays, Wilmington - Thursdays,   San Pedro (Old Town) - Fridays, and Garden Grove on Sundays.  In addition to fruits & vegetable, vendors sell a variety of crafted items such as artwork, clothing, jewelry, wood signs, home decor, beach-themed gifts and collectibles.

The new market offers something for everyone. For children there are pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, inflatables and a small choo choo train that travels around the parking lot of Peter's Landing shopping center.

Adults can enjoy the musicians who perform next to a food court where you can buy tacos, hot dogs and other hot food items, along with cold drinks.
