Bring the kids in costume for a free trunk or treat experience, trick or treating for candy and treats. It'll be sweet!  City of Monterey Departments, invited non-profits and local businesses  participate in  themed trunks. Trunk or Treat takes place on Pacific St. between Madison and Jefferson until 6:30 p.m. Then,  Halloween Movie Night begins at 6:30 p.m. with a viewing of the movie, "Scooby Doo" on Colton Hall Lawn. Food available for purchase from local vendors.

Sports Center Annual Pumpkin Plunge, Thriller and more

Take a plunge in the City of Monterey's sports center pool and pick a pumpkin. Enjoy face painting, photo booth, water activities and lights snacks (available for purchase at Sports Cafe.) If you don't secure a spot for the free pumpkin plunge, you can still enjoy free performances and activities throughout the day -  NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Prizes awarded to the best Dia de los Muertos costume.
