Overlooking the blue Pacific bring your children, your parents, and your friends to pay respect to those who gave so much so we could enjoy the privileges we have. The VFW Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point present a moving Memorial Day Service in Pines Park. Honoring the sacrifices made by our nation to earn our freedom, this Memorial Day Service  includes the Marine Corps Color Guard from Camp Pendleton. A special part of this program is the Boots and Rifle ceremony conducted by officers of Post 9934, and the bugle call, TAPS played by that master of the trumpet, David Longoria. If you have never attended this special Memorial Day Service, it is very moving.
