Ferndale Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade launches the event which includes a ceremony at Ferndale Cemetery. Following the ceremony, there's a return parade which proceeds to  Veterans Memorial Building.  

Ferndale has a 130+ year tradition of honoring those who died during their service fighting for our country with a parade and memorial service. In the past, Main Street has been filled with people honoring the flag and service men and women as they passed down Main Street. Hundreds of people would gather at the Cemetery to hear the Memorial Service and watch the honor guard complete the rifle salute to Honor those who have given the Ultimate Sacrifice for our Country followed by Taps.

 You can keep the tradition and momentum going by attending this event. The public is invited, free.
