Described as a conversation, film talkback, performance art, comedy series curated by Academy Award-winning actor and Actors’ Gang artistic director Tim Robbins, and featuring members and friends of The Actors’ Gang, all proceeds benefit The Gang’s community outreach programs. A cadre of provocateurs and proud comic voices targeting political hypocrisy, media distortion and the institutionalized ignorance infecting America, chew the fat of tradition and eat the press for ninety minutes once a month- all courtesy of the First Amendment. Tonight’s topic is “Missed Givings.” <\/p>\n
* Mon., Dec. 13: ITVS Community Cinema series – Free film screening of The Calling by Daniel Alpert. A look at four young Americans preparing to become the nation\u2019s next generation of religious leaders, The Calling explores the forces that are drawing young people to serve their communities and their faith. Community Cinema is a groundbreaking public education and civic engagement initiative featuring free monthly screenings of films from the PBS Emmy Award-winning Series Independent Lens.
