Bay Area Six Flags Christmas

VALLEJO, CALIF. — Last year the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Christmas celebration launched with dozens of Santas gliding through the air (shown in left photo). Oh what a sight! One of California’s most unique theme parks which combines the traditional Six Flags thrill rides with an aquarium and zoo, is like getting double the entertainment during the holidays. This year’s Holiday in the Park starts the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 28, 2014) and continues through Jan. 4, 2015. Among the holiday attractions are a forest of scented, holiday-lit trees, real snow, and a fireworks show on New Year’s Eve. The theme park is closed Dec. 24 & 25.
