Black Friday is Bright with Lighting Ceremonies

Today on Black Friday, dozens of cities throughout California are turning on the holiday lights in ceremonial fashion. Pictured is an annual, beloved 36-year tradition,  Christmas in the Park in San Jose. It officially launches on the day after Thanksgiving with the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Nearly half a million people come to see the fascinating wonderland open till New Year’s Day.  Here are some lighting festivals and ceremonies not to be missed today (rain may cancel, so check local details before going.)
