California 4th of July Parades

Independence Day ranks in the top 3 holidays for parades in the U.S.  (Christmas and Veteran’s Day parades are also among the favorite  parade celebrations, as well. What’s so unique about our California 4th of July parades?  There are over 30 cities with parades ranging from events where anyone can register and participate to parades planned almost a year in advance.
