Blues aren’t a bad thing–especially when they are free. While winter can bring on the blues in California, the free summer concerts held in city parks deliver blues tunes that actually cheer up the crowds ready to get out and celebrate summer. Music by the Sea shown in the photo is held at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, CA.
Sponsored by many city parks and recreation districts and municipalities in California, summer concerts provide one of the best experiences to be entertained, spend time with family and friends, and celebrate California’s great outdoor parks. There are many concerts being planned for the summer 2011, but most cities and places haven’t quite announced them yet. They begin doing so now, and by mid-May, most should have their concert series announcements out to the public. Stay tuned as we try to deliver the news about the summer concerts coming to a town near you!
