You don’t have to be a salad freak to fall in love with a Frenchman’s salad at Sofitel San Francisco Bay hotel in Redwood City. But salad lovers and non-salad diners alike should be holding their fingers up to their lips and blowing a kiss for the delicious Bay 223 Lobster Salad (listed under Les Salades.) This colorful, fresh and sweet creation comes from Executive Chef Emmanuel Robert, a French native who has held positions in the Michelin starred Le Grand Louvre Restaurant, Le Jardin and La Maison du Danemark in Paris.

The Bay 223 Lobster Salad is made with Spring mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, pickle red onions, white corn puree, cilantro oil, avocado and green onions. Setting off the fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs are large, sweet pieces of lobster–enough for a meal. A menu of fresh and flavorful main dishes, salads and oh-so-sweet desserts will leave no doubt in your mind that you’ve found a little piece of paradise in Redwood City.
