If you think that you need the budget of Universal or the years of experience of Knott’s in creating the ultimate Halloween Haunt, Pirates of Emerson creators prove that a couple of regular guys can give the “Big Boys” a run for their money. With a passion for creating illusion and entertainment experiences as their guide, Pirates innovators each year have grown their pirate ship and set sail on adventure that improves with time. Offering bands, dancers and a party atmosphere, the South Bay, San Francisco attraction moved in 2010 to Pleasanton’s Alameda Fairgrounds after 18 years of fine tuning.

In 2013 there are six mazes and haunted houses with authentically frightening scenes, pirates, belly dancers and fire breathers. Special effects, robotics, animation and interaction which takes months to create, provides an intense experience that is geared toward older children and adults.  Tickets are now on sale (piratesofemerson.com) for this year’s adventure that’s simply a-MAZE-ing!
