California is the summer concert mecca of the world (see Summer Concerts List). There are more free summer concerts in our state than any place on Earth! It’s a fact. The summer concert season has just begun and heats up through June, July and August, then tapers down in September. Now is the time to plan your strategy for summer health & happiness. Music is a window to the soul and you’d be wise to keep that window open to let some fresh air in!

From Agoura to Yucaipa people will be rocking, stomping, twisting, swaying, cha-cha-ing, and dancing to the beat on those warm summer days and nights. It’s an annual tradition in over 250 cities throughout the state, and one that doesn’t wait. Guest drop-in appearances often happen such as a surprise visit featuring famed Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean  in the same jam session with Dick Dale, King of Surf Guitar.  You’ll only find these impromptu concert shows and gatherings out in California parks, and on city streets, in the mountains and on beaches where people come to celebrate music and get happy!
