From March 1 to May 12, 2013 The Flower Fields<\/a>\u00a0(theflowerfields.com) in Carlsbad are open to the public for viewing. Operated specifically as a tourist attraction, the fields have been planted annually to promote the heritage of North San Diego County that generations recall seeing during drives along I-5. Lavish displays of color used to treat travelers between Los Angeles and San Diego, especially during the this time of year. \u00a0As an added bonus to your colorful visit, \u00a0there are many things to see and do right next door. Between Legoland<\/a>, Carlsbad Premium Outlets and Museum of Making Music<\/a>, you might just have to book a hotel room and spend the night.
