Mountain lovers should check out the Sierras for beach vacations in several majestic locations&#8211;Cathedral Beach, Yellow Pine Beach and Sentinel Beach in the Yosemite Valley. Located along the Merced River that runs through the mountains, these beaches are great for sunbathing, swimming, river rafting, picnics and hiking.
