A magnificent musical and lighting experience on the Organ Pavilion Stage includes the annual Del Cerro Baptist Church performing the &#8220;Christmas Story Tree.&#8221; The Music Department of the church has performed in Balboa Park since 1986, rehearsing year-round to bring this unparalleled production of the Christmas Story in music and diorama. It takes them an entire week to set up a metal frame, cover it with pine branches and decorate the stage for their shows December 6, 2013 at 8 p.m. and December 7 at 8:50 p.m. \u00a0San Diego&#8217;s largest free two-day festival in Balboa Park includes tons of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/christmas\/san-diego-december-nights.html\">entertainment &amp; free museums<\/a> (5 to 9 p.m.) and performances on 4 main stages &amp; inside many museums.
