At <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/farms\/california-oranges.html\">California Citrus State Park<\/a> in Riverside, the public is invited to Citrus Sampling on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. Meet at the Visitor Center, Museum, and Store to sample over 20 wonderful varieties of citrus at this delicious gathering. The event is free, while parking is a $5 fee. Location: 9400 Dufferin Ave., Riverside, CA<\/li>\n<li><strong>LA VERNE<\/strong>: \u00a0Just one county west of Riverside in the nation&#8217;s most populated county (Los Angeles,) the city of La Verne invites you to come pick your own. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/museums\/la-verne-heritage-park.html\">Heritage Park<\/a> is home to a grove of approx. 150 trees where the fruit is reportedly  sweet &amp; juicy this year. &#8216;Slice of La Verne&#8217; sponsored by the Heritage Foundation is one of the last working orange groves in the area providing a place to enjoy with your family. The cost to pick oranges is $5 per mesh bag&#8211;they supply the picking poles.
