This little mother who selected my avocado tree\u00a0chose a visible spot where she can keep an eye on me. However, I can&#8217;t reach my avocados.<\/p>\n<p>For weeks she&#8217;s been terrorizing me, whirring and buzzing at my head when I go on my daily avocado hunt to pick one or two&#8211;avocados aren&#8217;t just tasty,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/traveltips\/california-avocados-godsbutter\/\">they&#8217;re\u00a0 rich in vitamins<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>At first I thought the bird was cute, but after a few days of getting buzzed I decided to find out if this little creature could make contact with me. \u00a0It was starting to freak me out. \u00a0One day I tip-toed out to my tree not wanting to get buzzed. It was quiet&#8211;the bird wasn&#8217;t there. But whammo! Right in front of my eyes was a nest. Mama apparently was out to lunch and left &#8220;her&#8221; tree unguarded.<\/p>\n<p>Her behavior suddenly changed when she completed her nest where she sits most of the time. She hasn&#8217;t buzzed me, but she never lets her eyes off me.
