Humans LOVE the Grunion. So much fascination surrounds the little fish that come to spawn on California&#8217;s beaches that Cabrillo Marine Aquarium has spent decades studying grunion, hosting grunion talks and walking people out to the beach to meet them. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/sports\/fishing\/california-grunion-schedule.html\">Grunion season starts in March<\/a> (that&#8217;s when the fish arrive on the beach) but includes times when you&#8217;re allowed to catch them with your bare hands (with a fishing license) and times when they&#8217;re totally off limits and you&#8217;ll be fined.\u00a0Leave the guess work up to the experts who invite you to &#8220;Meet the Grunion&#8221;.
