February was National Feed a Bird Month, aiming to raise awareness of the needs of our little feathered friends and keep them going until the spring weather kicks in. People love birds but they don’t keep them as pets quite as much as dogs and cats. Bird ownership ranks third among pets in the U.S. As you’d expect, there aren’t as many bird shows, expos and festivals for pet birds as there are for cats and dogs, or even birds found in nature, for that matter.\u00a0However, there are some really fascinating bird marts, shows and expos the public is invited to attend.<\/p>\n
