The students actually grow the kelp. Caruso\u00a0is also the founder of the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/laguna-beach-kelpfest.html\"><span class=\"hiddenSpellError\">Kelpfest<\/span> <\/a>held April 26, 2014, 9 a.m. &#8211; 3 p.m. at Main Beach in Laguna Beach. Free tours will be offered of the tide pools.<\/p>\n<p>Can one person make a difference? Definitely, especially with a little help from her friends.
