One of the most spectacular concert settings to rival Red Rocks in Colorado is Harveys Lake Tahoe Casino outdoor amphitheater, next to the tree-lined banks of the largest alpine\u00a0lake in North America. Though Harveys\u00a0is in Nevada\u00a0it shares visitors with\u00a0California’s South Lake Tahoe mountain resort. California’s got the ski resort (Heavenly) and Nevada’s got the casinos–Harveys \u00a0and Harrah’s. \u00a0Tourists don’t differentiate between the cities that much, except in determining if they prefer to stay in the casino hotels\u00a0on the Nevada side of the road. The two cities have a symbiotic relationship when it comes to the summer concert series.
