Such comparisons would miss the mark for\u00a0two great destinations that happen to reside in California, and host Memorial Weekend shopping events. Hermosa Beach&#8217;s semi-annual<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/hermosa-beach-fiesta-hermosa.html\"> Fiesta Hermosa<\/a> (May 24-26, 2014) takes over the streets surrounding the &#8220;HB&#8221; Pier with live music, arts and crafts for kids, food courts, and shopping for everything under the sun. \u00a0On the same weekend (May 24-25) Graeagle hosts its annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/graeagle-hop-shop-festival.html\">Memorial Weekend Shop Hop<\/a>. The scene is quite different but the fun is the same&#8211;looking for treasures you can&#8217;t pass up.<\/p>\n<p>Other similar events this weekend include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ARNOLD\u00a0 Spring Peddler&#8217;s Fair, May 24-25, 2014,\u00a0among the pines and redwoods at the 4000&#8242; elevation. The Ebbett&#8217;s Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. serves local beers, while Arnold Lion&#8217;s Club holds an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast both days from 8 &#8211; 11 a.m. The Peddler&#8217;s Fair is held from 9 a.m. &#8211; 4 p.m. in downtown Arnold, Highway 4, Arnold, CA.
