Among the venues this summer\u00a0is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/entertainment\/shakespeare\/shakespeare-by-the-sea.html\">Shakespeare by the Sea<\/a>, a series of\u00a0oceanfront plays traveling to cities throughout Southern California, \u00a0and Marin&#8217;s spectacular\u00a0Forest Meadows Amphitheatre, located on the campus of Dominican University of California in San Rafael. The\u00a0Marin Shakespeare Company (marinshakespeare.org) recently announced that it received a $1 million gift donation\u00a0from an\u00a0anonymous donor.
