City kids need dirt-play and opportunities to use hammers &amp;\u00a0nails\u00a0to\u00a0build things. There are only two Adventure Playgrounds in California currently operating. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/kids\/berkeley-adventure-playground.html\">One is in Berkeley<\/a> and the other is in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/attractions\/huntington-beach-adventure-playground.html\">Huntington Beach<\/a>. Irvine used to have one and citizens are trying to get it back after the city closed it years ago.
