It is just the surf culture, and it’s a crack up! \u00a0From a guy reading his newspaper in a lawn chair (while riding a surfboard,) to a pretty girl in a bikini and Stetson hat heading out for a wave, you never know what you’ll see or what to expect. \u00a0 Two of California’s\u00a0funniest surf fests<\/a> this season take place at \u00a0Dana Point’s Doheny Beach (Doheny Surf Festival,) and Ventura’s Pierpont Beach\u00a0(Surf Rodeo.) At Surf Rodeo the mission is clear: “We have sat back and watched the world of surfing transform into a highly competitive, cut-throat, serious atmosphere, but now we feel it\u2019s time to giddy up and ride the wave back to our roots.
