The giant Rube Goldberg money-stamping machine on wheels is on national tour, part of a\u00a0grassroots movement to\u00a0reverse the\u00a0Supreme Court ruling legalizing corporate campaign donations.<\/p>\n

Ordinary dollar bills are placed into a contraption\u00a0stationed on a flatbed truck. They\u00a0travel sideways and upside down until arriving at\u00a0the machine\u00a0where phrases are stamped\u00a0on them\u00a0in red ink. \u00a0You may see these dollars circulating with messages such as\u00a0“Not To Be Used For Bribing Politicians”\u00a0or\u00a0“Amend the Constitution: Stamp Money Out of Politics”. \u00a0 The ice cream magnate\u00a0says 16 states, over 500 municipalities, 146 members of Congress\u00a0and thousands of individuals he’s met\u00a0would all like to see the Supreme Court ruling reversed.\u00a0See:\u00a0stampstampede.org<\/p>\n
