The\u00a0thriving Russian-American Company settlement from 1812 to 1841,\u00a0features\u00a0restored buildings showcasing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/parks\/fort-ross-california-state-park.html\">unique architecture<\/a> not often seen in California.
