Last year it included a reenactment of the famous I LOVE LUCY episode in which Lucy studies for a movie part by attempting to get a job stomping grapes at an Italian winery. As usual, she finds herself in more of a sticky situation than anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>California has over 20 grapes stomps&#8211;there actually may be as many as 50 but we haven&#8217;t uncovered all of them as of yet. The stomp season\u00a0typically happens around the time of harvest of the wine grapes. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/wineries\/grape-stomping.html\">The stomp is merely fun and symbolic<\/a>. Health laws prohibit wineries from actually using the juice pressed by human feet. It&#8217;s just a kick getting your feet wet and having a good time feeling what it was like to make wine back in the early days before machines did\u00a0most the\u00a0work.
