Highlights in past festivals\u00a0have included an appearance of &#8220;Big Red&#8221;, the Save Mart giant shopping cart that can comfortably seat\u00a0four adults waving\u00a0to the crowd. Then there&#8217;s Al &amp; Wally, those enthusiastic &#8220;nuts&#8221; from Modesto Nuts minor league baseball team. \u00a0Where&#8217;s Salida? It&#8217;s in Stanislaus County in the Central Valley.
