Though there may not be much snow this winter (we’ll see as the season unfolds) there’s plenty of ICE now through the New Year 2015. Parents should prepare as their kids are innocently introduced to ice skating at the seasonal holiday rinks in California. Who knows how many kids will fall in love with the feeling of skating and urge mom & dad\u00a0to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on\u00a0lessons and a chance to become the next Gold Medal\u00a0Olympian? Ice rinks are practically everywhere but for the real feel of skating there’s definitely a difference between the artificial surfaces and ice. Ice takes longer to set up, costs a lot more to produce &\u00a0maintain in\u00a0warmer climates, but\u00a0many who have tried the less expensive, artificial surfaces have said they are not satisfactory\u00a0when you’re accustomed to the real stuff.
