I love California so much that I write about it every day–without pay! Since 2010 I’ve written close to 4,000 postings that have gone out to thousands of subscribers who apparently love California, too. Although I live in Southern California (Huntington Beach) where police sirens are so common\u00a0you\u00a0hardly notice, jets fly overhead (from 3 airports) so loud that we can’t carry a conversation till they pass\u00a0and Disneyland fireworks boom and pop like clockwork at 9:40-9:45\u00a0most\u00a0nights, I love the place. It’s crowded, noisy and the traffic can be really, really bad.<\/p>\n

No matter where you live or what your experiences consist of, there’s so much to love, and Californians tend to be optimists by nature, looking for the good in their local communities and state.
