The city that often smells like garlic has fun celebrating each season, but winter is special\u00a0as Gilroy Gardens themed attraction is decked out with holiday lights&#8211;an annual delight! There&#8217;s also a heart-warming parade with thousands showing up to see their favorite scout troop, high school band or local celeb. Then there&#8217;s the Costume Contest for pets&#8211;adorable! And what about the songs around the Christmas tree with talented acts performing in the build up to Santa&#8217;s arrival and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/christmas\/trees\/gilroy-tree-lighting.html\">tree lighting<\/a>.
