Scroll down for White Christmas lodging options!<\/p>\n<p>Just in&#8230;.it WILL be a White Christmas in California&#8217;s mountain resorts. When we reported <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/visit\/california-ski-resorts-opening.html\">ski resort opening dates back in October<\/a> there was no hint of snow so Mammoth, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Northstar and Squaw Valley were\u00a0counting on snow-making \u00a0machines for opening days in late November. Now with several snowfalls under their belts, even the drier regions are ecstatic that nature has provided a holiday gift.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BADGER PASS<\/strong> (Yosemite National Park): Ski resort opened Dec. 14, 2014. On Dec. 17\u00a0snowfall from morning into late tonight expected to\u00a0total 3-6 inches.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BEAR MOUNTAIN<\/strong> (Big Bear Lake): Dec. 17, 2014 Update &#8212; There is 5-7\u00a0inches of snow\u00a0on the ground with more on the way!!! Snow is piling up quickly and since our early update we have had an additional 2-3 inches of natural snow totaling 5-7 inches of freshies! The forecast calls for continued snow throughout the day and temps to stay in the low 30\u2019s! We will continue to make snow as conditions allow. Skiers and riders may find snowmaking operations in effect on OPEN trails. Bear Mountain is still offering pre-season rates<\/li>\n<li><strong>JUNE MOUNTAIN<\/strong> (June Lake): On Dec. 16, 2014 approx.\u00a06-10 inches of new snow fell in the\u00a0morning with more is on the way. A snow squall alert was issued on Dec. 17. Chairs J4 &amp; J6 open on Thursday, Dec. 18.<\/li>\n<li><strong>MT.
