Meow! That&#8217;s the cat&#8217;s pajamas. If people like fancy cats so much, why did the publisher of Cat Fancy close the magazine this year after being in existence 50 years\u00a0(since 1965)? Irvine, Calif.\u00a0based I-5 Publishing LLC announced recently that\u00a0Cat Fancy and Dog Fancy magazines are closing and subscribers will receive\u00a0copies of\u00a0&#8220;catster&#8221;and &#8220;dogster&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0With all the new laws about puppy and cat mills, some animal owners aren&#8217;t embracing the pedigree concept quite so much, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/visit\/helping-cats-and-kittens-get-a-second-chance.html\">preferring adoption of strays &amp; mutts solely<\/a>.\u00a0The\u00a0high-society cat (and dog) images\u00a0are\u00a0by no means gone, however.
