Most events are free to see, including an art show, kids activities and learning opportunities. Guided walking tours are offered at the\u00a019th annual celebration of the migration through San Francisco Bay where more than 1 million shorebirds and hundreds of thousands of ducks, geese, hawks, songbirds and other wildlife can be seen at the peak of migration. On the evening of Feb. 14 from\u00a05:15\u00a0to\u00a010 p.m. a free Introductory Night Photography Workshop in the Historic Core of the Mare Island Naval Shipyard is\u00a0offered. The unique setting is filled with character, lending itself to great photographs and art. Established in 1854,\u00a0this\u00a0was the first naval facility on the Pacific Coast\u00a0with more than 40,000 men and women working at the island&#8217;s drydocks and warehouses.
