Once the Prohibition ended in 1933 doing away with a 13 year ban on alcohol consumption in the U.S., the 21st Amendment of the Constitution permitting liquor knocked the 18th right out of the ballpark. Today some breweries even poke fun at or commemorate those dry times by naming their beer &#8220;Constitution&#8221; or &#8220;Amendment&#8221;. \u00a0That moment in history\u00a0temporarily did cut down on alcohol consumption but it also meant a loss of taxes at a critical time when America entered the Depression.<\/p>\n<p>In the merry month of March 2015 beer is BIG in California.\u00a0Sacramentans are a perfect example of those who waste no time when it comes to sampling beer.\u00a0\u00a0Sacramento Beer Week from Feb. 27 to March 9\u00a0is a whopping\u00a011 days of celebrating, but when you tack on the Capitol City International Beer Fest on\u00a0March 21, it unofficially becomes beer month. Sacramento isn&#8217;t alone in its love a beer&#8211;here are some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/march-beer.html\">beer festivals in cities throughout California this month<\/a>:\u00a0Fairfax, San Jose, San Diego, El Cajon, Anaheim, Santa Rosa, San Bernardino, Sacramento and Santa Ana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The cat&#8217;s out of the bag!
