A requirement for getting into the Ventura St. Patrick’s\u00a0Parade<\/a>\u00a0spirit on March 14, 2015 \u00a0is wearing a green wig\u00a0or\u00a0hat. But you may not get to see the popular Sham Hock,\u00a0a\u00a0giant inflatable green pig that has appeared at the past 25 St. Patrick\u2019s Day Parades in Ventura. There’s a whopping\u00a0$100 reward for the safe return of Sham Hock according to parade organizers. If you see this green creature it’s 20 feet long, 12 feet high and pretty plump when inflated with a pump. Parade volunteers went to retrieve the pig from a storage facility where\u00a0it sat\u00a0near the entrance\u00a0for pick up and when they got there, piggy was gone. Sham Hock has been stolen before and returned just before the big St. Patty’s Parade. \u00a0Organizers want Sham Hock back and are hoping that\u00a0whoever stole it will return it\u00a0before the parade.\u00a0 As we’ve mentioned previously, there are\u00a0St. Patrick’s parades this weekend to enjoy in other cities, as well:\u00a0Dublin<\/a>,\u00a0Sacramento<\/a>, San Francisco<\/a> and San Diego<\/a>.
