It&#8217;s all just fun and games, but sometimes the pirate threat is real. California&#8217;s cruise ships to Baja have faced such threats and as a result began employing different measures to keep their seafaring guests safe. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/history\/california-pirates.html\">history of pirate acts in California<\/a> and the West Coast have not been as abundant as the southeast U.S. in Louisiana, Florida and Mississippi.
